7. When you doubt an observation or miss a day's charting...
When you doubt about your observations or miss charting a day’s observations, consider yourself of peak fertility plus count 3.
Doubt occurs most often when:
- the observational routine has not been adhered to
- charting is not done daily
- observations are not accurately recorded
- questions or concerns are not reviewed with your HRHP or by reviewing the Justisse Method guide
- you have recently or are currently experiencing stress or illness
- after an abortion, or pregnancy "scare"
- you are coming off hormonal contraceptive
- you are starting a sexual relationship with a new partner
- you are feeling pressured to have intercourse, or are experiencing some conflicts in your sexual life
- you feel ambiguous about your intentions to avoid or achieve pregnancy
Faithful charting, faithful observational routine, and follow-ups encourage you to trust your observations and charting ability.
