Enrollment in the HRHP Training Program

Pre-requisites

 A minimum of a two-year undergraduate degree or diploma in any field is required. First priority is given to those with previous work or educational experience in the healing and helping fields.

Application Process, Cost, & Time for Completion

LEVEL I = $2600.00                             Theory 12 to 18 months Practicum 6 to 12 months

LEVEL I & II = $4550.00                      Theory 18 to 24 months Practicum 12 to 18 months

The HRHP Trainee can start the program anytime . It is self-paced and flexible in meeting individual need. For example, students who enroll and already have competency within certain areas of the required curriculum can arrange to alter their pacing or handling of the curriculum accordingly. Ultimately, any areas of previous scholastic or independent study and investigation that qualifies for certification as a Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner will be considered for credit. Because the program is self-paced, the time for completion is flexible. Obtaining the required texts is the Trainee's responsibility. (Since many of the texts can be purchased second hand, this can prove to be the most economical way.)  However, there are some texts that will be made available for the student’s convenience.

To apply to become a Justisse Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner trainee, contact Justisse Healthworks for Women by phone or e-mail to arrange to speak with an HRHP trainer, who will assess your eligibility.  If you are eligible, you will be asked to prepare the following materials and mail them to the address listed below.

 1. A list of your specific experience and training in the following areas:

  • nutritional and herbal healing, and lifestyle counselling
  • bio-chemistry, human anatomy and physiology
  • counselling techniques
  • fertility awareness and/or natural birth control
  • other forms of birth control, and STD prevention and counselling
  • abortion and abortion counselling
  • pregnancy, birth, post-partum care, and breastfeeding

2. In addition make a note of:

  • significant texts you have read on health and healing in the area of holistic reproductive health
  • formal education (degrees, certificates, diplomas) -- name program and institution
  • work experience pertinent to  the healing field

3. A short composition of 1 to 2 pages explaining your interest in Justisse and how you envision yourself using Justisse as a HRHP (see www.justisse.ca for information on our philosophy).

4. Please include a $150.00 CDN non-refundable processing fee.
